The PanTeXas Deterrence Team

The PanTeXas Deterrence team was purpose-built to bring the very best of industry experience together to meet crucial national and global security needs.

It is our vision that Pantex will be recognized as a responsive, high-performing manufacturing complex with modernized facilities, a highly qualified and diverse workforce, and a disciplined approach to operations that delivers all mission requirements.

The PXD team is excited to get started on transition and is eager to meet the current workforce and members of the community. We believe that Pantex performs a crucial role in the defense of our nation. We are honored to become a part of the patriotic spirit and rich history of the Pantex Plant.

Small Business Subcontracting

PXD highly values the important roles that small businesses and the local supply chain play in the success of Pantex. We have plans to more fully engage small businesses with our “small business first” approach that prefers small businesses for supporting tasks at the plant.

We plan to create a training and development center that recruits, mentors, and bolsters the success of new small businesses. A Small Business Co-op will be directed by our Business Services Director, who will engage small businesses and stakeholders in developing an incubator that increases local small business participation.

Community Engagement

PXD will continue the commitment to community support established by our parent companies and affiliated companies at all the sites where we operate today.

Our community engagement activities will focus on these primary areas:

  • Support diverse and inclusive education programs that help prepare the workforce of tomorrow for rewarding jobs at the Pantex Plant.
  • Support economic, recreational, and cultural initiatives that significantly contribute to an attractive quality of life for the area.
  • Address community social needs through monetary donations and in-kind services.
  • Build our regional supply chain by supporting small businesses.

During transition, we are meeting with community leaders to introduce our leadership team and better understand area needs as we develop our first community commitment plan.
